'Bon Viveur'. Now in their fourth successful year, our two 'Dutch Barge' syndicates - featuring the luxurious 6/8 berth 15m 'Bon Viveur' s - are based in Burgundy during the summer and on the Canal du Midi in the autumn and spring. 'Fingertip control' and ease of manoeuvrability are the hallmark of these boats, thanks to powerful bow and stern thrusters. 'Andromeda'. New for 2008/9, this 4 berth 11m mini-péniche offers the style and oak-panelled comfort of the 'Bon Viveur' on a more intimate scale. Like her big sister, she is due to spend the summer in Burgundy and autumn and spring on the Canal du Midi. There are 30 shares in 'Andromeda', each one giving the shareholder 1/30th ownership of the boat and the right to use it for one week every year for the life of the syndicate. 'Explorer'. New for 2008/9, the 'Explorer' is a unique 'go anywhere' 4 berth, broad beam, 'bateau-mouche'-style river cruiser, custom-designed to make the most of southern Europe's temperate climate and be easily (and cheaply) moved by road between cruising areas.This means that you can cruise stunningly beautiful rivers such as the Lot and Charente, inaccessible to our bigger boats.
